Welcome to The Yoga Sloth
The Yoga Sloth was founded by two women united by love for yoga and movement. We may not move as slowly as a sloth, but we do embrace mindful movement—intentional and purposeful—to help cultivate balance and fulfilment in everyday life.
A healthy body supports a healthy mind. We understand that every body is different—and that every body moves differently. That’s why we want to support our students unique path and practice, meeting people where they are and encouraging growth at their own pace. Through our own practice, we have experienced how movement, breath, and stillness. can create space for clarity, strength, and inner peace.
We take yoga seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. While our teaching is rooted in depth and integrity, we hold space with warmth, lightness, and the occasional laugh—because joy is part of the practice too.
We are deeply grateful to the teachers we’ve studied with over the years—their wisdom continues to shape our journey. We’re equally thankful for the talented and dedicated teachers who are now part of The Yoga Sloth, sharing their knowledge and presence with our growing community.
Formerly Fulham Yoga, we’re now based in Parsons Green, with a new name that better reflects our philosophy and playful spirit.
Why the Sloth?
In a world that often feels rushed—especially in London—we invite you to slow down and nurture your inner sloth. Just like this gentle, deliberate creature, we believe in conserving energy, embracing change, and moving steadily through life’s challenges.
Rest and recovery are just as powerful as movement. Whether your goal is a fancy arm balance or finding more ease in your day-to-day life, or both, we’re here to support you.
Did you know? - Sloths are social creatures and often hang out in groups - and we too love to hang out with our kind, connected community, where everyone has space to be and grow.
